APIIDA API Gateway Manager
Node
In the details view you have access to the managed APIs that are currently running on this particular node, its analytics data, the alarm thresholds, the past migrations and additional security related information. On the right hand side there is also a box with basic information about the node including a list of options like edit those basic information and the possibility to remove the node from the Gateway Manager.
Running APIs
The APIs shown here are running on the node and have already been added to the Gateway Manager. You can add more APIs using the “Discover APIs” function. If you have enabled metrics for this node, you can also see the metrics of its APIs. The tile labelled "APIIDA" is the solution/folder with the APIs from the APIIDA Solution Kit. The tile displays the totalled requests to all contained APIs. Clicking on a tile takes you to an even more detailed view.
Analytics
Here, the metrics of the node are analysed and graphically prepared. The utilisation of the CPU, the memory and the storage space in the last minutes up to half an hour are displayed.
Alarming
If the CPU, memory or storage space exceeds a threshold value that can be set here, you can have a message sent to you. You can edit these notification options in "Integrations".
For example, if the CPU load increases from 50% (grey, running) to 70 (yellow, warning), the tile turns yellow and all integrations that were added for the transition from running to warning are executed.
Migrations
An overview of all migrations with this node as source or target. You can also see all other migrated resources and the result of these migrations.
Audit
Here you can view and filter the audits of the node.
Security
In this tab you get an overview of the listen ports, private keys and trusted certificates on your node, their expiry date and more.
Information
If the node is in a cluster, you will get all information here.
You can also see all installed SolutionKits here.
Discover APIs
Here you can let AAGM scan all resources on your gateway and then select which APIs to manage in AAGM.
Check Connectivity
Checking connectivity allows you to diagnose the connection to the gateway after you made changes to the connection info or when things stop working. This troubleshooting method will try to connect to the gateway’s Restman interface and retrieve some basic data. Additionally it will check if APIIDA’s solution kit is installed, if it is accessible and if gathering metrics is enabled for this node. The results and error messages that help you troubleshooting the problem are displayed after the check ends.
Remove the Node from the Gateway Manager
Clicking “Remove from AAGM” will remove this gateway from the management. This does not havy any effects on the running gateway. If you installed the APIIDA Solution Kit it will still be present on the node and needs to be uninstalled using the Policy Manager.
Please note, that all analytical data will be permanently deleted from the API Gateway Manager upon removal of a node. If you re-add this node at a later time, you start with an empty dataset. Migrations will be kept even after a node is deleted.
