Installation and Configuration

If you would like to use the XML Deployer, please contact our customer support team to get access to the XML Deployer Docker image.

The XML Deployer exposes port 8090, that you can map to your liking.

The hostname and port of the XML deployer can be configured in the API Gateway Manager under Configuration → General → XML Deployment. Enter the hostname that the XML Deployer is available on the port that you mapped to the Docker container.

Usage

The XML Deployer ties in with the git operations. To publish an XML definition to a gateway, register the repository the XML files are stored in as an API. The format should be shown as “XML Definition”. When clicking “Pull from git and import into node” the XML definitions will be sent to the XML Deployer, which will convert them to Layer7 services and deploy them on the gateway chosen in the dialog.
